Notes:

NOTE: This vehicle has the passlock II immobilizer system *1 The ignition harness is located far right of the steering column, behind the ignition switch.  *2 Lock and unlock use the same wire. Lock requires a negative trigger with a 470 ohm resistor in-line. Unlock is negative trigger. Must use relays.    *3 The BCM is located above the brake pedal. It is a plastic box with three plugs that face the firewall.  *4 Installation of factory keyless upgrade alarm is not recommended on this vehicle because the door lock motor wires rest at approximately 7 volts.  *5 The drivers door trigger wire is blue. Blue/white will catch all other doors. Use both wires and diode isolate each.  *6 Horn can also be found at the black plug with a blue insert above the gas pedal.  *7 This wire must be powered as an accessory wire. If powered as an 2nd ignition the car will not crank.  *8 Must isolate this wire from the BCM when doing remote start to avoid 'service engine soon' light. See directfax document #1600 for wiring information.

Thanks for the diagram.

it says something about isolating a neg parking light wire from the BCM to avoid engine light. It says see directfax document #1600 for the wiring diagram.

Any help on this would be appreciated. Thanks.

Matthew

Just use a relay to reverse the polarity of the parking light wire from the RS unit. This will isolate this wire from the parkingl ights.
