ive searched for this and couln't find anything. ive just about got everything hooked up but i was wanting to get some solutions for...
1. My heater/air conditioner won't work (the only thing i've found on this was somebody saying to join two wires in the ignition harness???) where is the wire that i hook up to for this?
and
2. There is a wire that sends a signal to the alarm when the car starts, the instructions say a wire that has negative polarity when the car is off, and positive polarity after the car has started. what is the easy and most common place to hook up this wire?
oh and by the way, the alarm i got was one of those generics off ebay
thanks

what kind of car is this for?  many cars have more than one accessory wire that you must power in order to get the heater powered during a remote start.  im not sure what you mean by the second question.  what did you buy? a remote starter, or an all in 1 remote start/keyless/alarm?

*also* there is a single wire that comes out of the main alarm module, which is in the same harness as the ignition wires, that is strictly supposed to be for the a/c and heater.

the green wire should be conected to either the yellow or the white black wire at the ign harness. by the looks of the diagram it looks like both the green wire and brown wires are acc wires. i am not sure. i do not like the diagram that they give you. i am asleep as i write this so maybe i will be able to read better in the morning.
