The ignition wire is BLUE/RED not RED / BLUE & you still have to power up the YELLOW wire with a (+) for the keysense wire to acknowledge that there is a key in the ignition. The doors unlocking for remote start will disarm the OEM alarm.

Yes, I meant I have two blue/red ones.  So, I just run a constant +12V source to the yellow keysense wire? I am guessing since there were two other yellow wires in the ignition harness the key sense will show +12V upon sticking my key in the ignition?

I hope you have a DMM or at least a light tester. NEVER just run a constant wire to another wire in hopes that the information that we give you here is correct. In most cases we have what we give you from personal experience or from what other installer's have received from the companies that sell us the remote start products. It's the responsibility of the installer to ensure proper polarity with a DMM to ensure no damage is done to their vehicle.

I just wanted to make sure that you understand that the information that I give you is from wiring information from the net and my supplier's, & I am in no way gauaranteeing the accuracy of this information. Please use a tester to ensure that the wire that your connecting to is right before placing a live wire to it.

To answer your question, " YES " the target yellow wire should have 12 volts on it when you insert the key into the ignition.

Yeah, I have been using light tester.  It's my fiance's car so I am tryin to gather all the info I can before trying something not listed in the install manual.

Does it matter which ignition wire is run as ignition#1 and ignition#2?  Like I said before I have two identical colored blue/red wires that test the same, and I have no idea how to tell #1 from #2.
