i got the truck almost all done on christmas eve. all but 2 things.

The wait to  start wire

and the wake up wire for the vsc(vehicle security controll) for the door unlock after the truck sits a while (similar to the 2003 2004 explorers.

i am installing a rs900 crimestopper unit on a 2005 turbo deisel f250 pickup. I am using a new transmitter with the door locks.

The astrochart shows for 2004 anyhows its a green and white wire at the glow plug relay on the firewall under th hood pass side.  Little silver box with a green plug.  Its POS. I dont know if its the same as 05.

Break the drivers door pin wire with a relay and "pulse it" before unlock and "pulse it" after lock or remote start. That will wake up the bcm, and shut the radio off  after run time

the 04/05 ford superduty's are negative trigger door wires now. you have to send a negative pulse.
fyi, there's about a 5% chance it has the GEM sleep mode, as everyone I've done doesn't have that feature.
there has been no wait to start wire since 2001 on thos trucks.

The unit that I install on these trucks has a built in glow plug timer and it works great at 20 seconds. If your unit does not have this feature use a timer relay.
