where can i have a new remote and how can i program it in my alarm system. i went to shop where i bought the system but said that they cannot provide me new remote, instead told me to buy new alarm system. is there anything i can do.

in my alarm manual it has a learning code option, is this option for programming new remote.

If your remote got wet it may have shorted out the micro-processor inside. You can try removing the battery and checking it to see if it still has power. Unless your alarm is a very cheap unit it shouldn't need re-programming.
