Anyone know how to bypass the clutch to install a remote start in this car?

Light Green wire (-) at the clutch . It's in a 2 pin molex connector at the clutch arm beside a Black wire. Use your status output wire ( ground when running ) to activate this wire.

Is this all you do to bypass a clutch with a compustar? Just use the status output wire and connect it to the wire on the clutch? Or do you need a relay or anything else? Thanks velocity.

Velocity do you have to use a relay such as the one on your website (NEGATIVE CLUTCH BYPASS Circuit) Or Can you simply take the ground out while running wire and hook it up to the clutch wire?

Use a relay!! .....even if the output on the compustar was strong enough you'll just burn out the output on the unit eventually.

Have yet to see a customer come back to me with the units that I have installed the way I described above complaining that the remote start doesn't work anymore.
