i have an alarm model LD 168-6C and  i can't understand. where is the "valet button"? is it the same as the "override switch"?   the remote button has this 4 button configurartions:

1 - (lock/unlock)

2 - (picture of the back of the car with trank opened/vehicle locator) -  this is for trank remote open
3 - (chirp on / off) - this is for silent and sound mode for alarm
4 - (window up)

one part of the manual says "

15. Valet Mode:

From the disarmed condition, turn ignition key to the on position, then press and hold the valet push button switch until the dash mount LED blinks slowly.
that's where the problem is, i don't know where the valet button switch is.  :(

you should be able to jsu tuse the switch for programing. do as the mnaural says but instead of the button movie it to the ON position. if that dont work try it the other way.
Can you scan the whole manural in.
