I just finished installing an Ultra Start 4500 on my truck (2002 GMC Sierra). I did not hook up any of the alarm features, only the remote start and keyless entry. The start function works great, but how do I get the factory alarm to work when I lock my doors? I thought the factory alarm would set when I hit the lock button twice. I have it hooked up at the door switch, if I change it to the BCM location will this arm and disarm the alarm?

You have to interface the alarm with the factory alarm wires.
