Alright i know i just posted about the thunder 9500's and stuff and i still plan to keep those but i was just curious what the big deal with the brahma's. Dont get me wrong i'm NOT hatin on them and i wouldnt mind having some but i was just curious what makes them so good.  Honestly they seem rather complicated like what ohms do the VC's come in and the power they need? how much would be good for them alot or a little?  And one more ? what do you guys think would be a really good set up with one brahma or two brahma 12's like what amp would be good for them and stuff thanks for the replies sorry if this seems really dumb but i was just wondeirng

Thanks

Chad

Brahma 15 ported runnin off a JBL 1200.1..That would make some noise and still manage to sound great. There are other good choices as far as amps go..that's just one of them.

Crazy loud excursion, while maintaining constant SQ. I run 2 12'' Brahmas off of one Cadence ZRS-9 and bang! Brahmas are awesome.

The Brahma was the sub that released our new motor technology; XBL^2.  It greatly reduces the distortion in a subwoofer over previous motor topologies.  This translates some of the best SQ possible out of a subwoofer.  If you get a chance to hear one, I'm sure you will be impressed.

We are re-vamping our line for 2005 and will be releasing the full details after CES (which I leave for tomorrow morning).  The changes are also bringing about a lot of new dealers, so we may have one very close to you soon if we don't already.  So check the dealer page of our website regularly.

Honestly, you should get plenty loud with a single Brahma 12, so unless you want some insane output I would recommend going that route.  That should save you some money and trunk space.  For enclosure, it really depends on what you are looking for.  Here's a link to a page that shows different enclosure sizes based on different goals: http://www.adireaudio.com/Files/cut%20sheets/Brahma%20Sales%20Brochure.pdf

Alrighty well i'll wait a while to see what 2005 brings to the table for you guys maybe some better stuff huh??? LOL. I was just wondering what you think is a good amp right now i have an Audiobahn a1500hct (yah i know its audiobahn) and at the moment i have a MTX 801D on my 9500. Would either one if those work? I know you guys say they dont need alot of power and stuff but  i'd like to give it over 500 or so watts and i'm looking for maybe a SPL ported box for the sub but a spl sealed would work too i suppose so let me know what you think ok.

Thanks

Chad

I to am from fargo.  I know some people that will be at CES.  They are with Advanced Autowerx and Electronix.  Currently they are selling phoenix gold and mb quart if I'm not mistaken.  Though I mentioned Adire to them when I spoke with them.
