hi. i'm having a trouble to put my alarm to the code-learning mode after following the steps.  i had already checked the wiring and all alarm features are working fine.  the steps are to turn the ignition from ON to OFF 4x and put back to ON and supposedly the alarm will chirp but doesn't. my alarm is an Option Group LD 163-6C.  link to diagram :  http://percyv143.home.comcast.net/pix/alarm1.jpg

i tried disconnecting the supplu harness but still can't.

help...
thanks.

the yellow wire is connected to the ACC terminal at the back of the key cylinder.

Hey, I've don't have any experience with this alarm but does this alarm require a door to be open (ie dei ) or does it require a hood open (ie crimestoper) during programming. I know some of these newer cars dont have enough current comin from the pinswitches  to actually show a door opening but has enough current to set off the alarm . I did an infinity g35  once that had that problem what i did was cut the negative door trigger wire n put direct to ground to get into programming mode. Well hopefully that help n good luck.
