I have a Viper 350HV and when it was installed it has the auto-lock feature that locks the doors when the ignition key is turned on w/about a 2-3 second delay.
Is there an easy way to dissable this feature as it's getting very annoying.
Thanks,
Eric

Thanks for the information. Problem is I recently moved and can't seem to find my Alarm Box which had the Owners Manual inside it for "safe" keeping.
Any links to an owners manual online?

I found the owners manual and it doesn't say how to turn this feature off/on. It just says it's a feature.
Anyone know if this is programable w/my remote or if you have to do something else?
Also, if you can suggest the key sequence on the remote that'd be helpful too. BTW, it has the 3 button (triangular shaped) remote.
Thanks.

open a door, turn the ignition on then off.. hold ur valet button and wait for the led to blink once and the horn to honk once, then press your valet button 5 times.. holding on the fifth time.. press the unlock button. close ur door..   that should turn ur active locking off..

Oh yeah... if I run thru either of these procedures and it happens that this is the wrong instructions for my 350HV could I screw up the alarm system all together?

THANKS for the help. I tried what you suggested and it seemed to work last night. However, this morning when I got in my Jeep to head to work the ignition/door locks were back to auto lock againAdvice for Auto-Lock on Viper350HV -- posted image. It's almost as though the alarm reset to the previous settings.
Anymore suggestions? I'm going to try programming it to not auto lock again as before, but can do other things if needed.
Thanks.
