Can someone tell me which harness I need for a new HU. Do I need the one with the amp bypass?

You need a ford premium sound harness with bypass plug. You will have to locate the factory amp in the drivers rear cavity and install the bypass plug there.

also if you have factory subs, u might want to check into the ford amp integrator harness,  it has level adjust so you can set it like you want it, as far as amp location, look behind the left side trunk lining.

the ford premium jbl audio has enough power to produce good sound for a 10" pioneer, the pioneer also gives enough magnet clearance in the case that you are replacing the factory sub.
