The JBL is the biggest I heard of. Amazingly enough sony used to make a real power house in their ES line that ran around 4000-5000 RMS and were about the size of a decent sized coffee table top and were about 5 inches thick. They were a real site to see but are quite rare. I think there are like 6 in Canada and two are owned by one shop. Cant remember the model number though.

anyone ever heard of that Dr. Crankenstein amp a few years back, I don't think it could produce that power but I think the price tag was in the six figure range?

The DR Crankenstein amp wasnt 6 figures it was 5 and I remember that damn thing. It was physically huge and came in a large wooden crate. I wish I could remeber what kinda power it did because it was really impressive. BTW Earthquake also used to make an amp in the 5000-6000 watt  range, dont know if they still do or not. And I am going to say it before anyone else does, Audiobahn makes one that they CLAIM will do 5000 watts but we dont even need to get into how much bullsh*t that is.

the drag queen is 20000 watts rms, and runs off a normal alternator.
