you have to install a pin switch in the engine bay then run your wire through the fire wall.use an existing wire grommet, saves time.

ok i can do that but i am wondering why it says hood pin or extra light switch +when brake is applied? thx

maybe it can be programed to receive 12 volts or a ground input.something like a positive or a negavitve door trigger.
