since when do you need a double lock.....I have never seen any remote starter do that.

the only thing you can program are the length of the pulse for the lock/unlock  output.

p.s. maxima don't need a double lock....what are you trying to do?

Testing is the key

late model maxima's and every infiniti product works on double pulse.. they also have driver's priority as well.
what alarm are you using ? You can use a pulse timer to give two pulses.. or, you can check this other posting in the relay forum here

A 1996 maxima only needs double pulse to unlock. A single pulse will lock. I've done 2 1996 maximas and a 1997. They all work the same.

Cutdog504...I tried telling them that, but they won't listen.

There is no way you need a double lock.

when you find  the wire for lock(Light GREEN/ Red(-) in the driver door)..........close all doors and remove the key from the ignition, then test it

unlock = GREEN/ YELLOW (-) Double Pulse Unlock

You don't need double lock......never seen that in my 12 year expereince as an installer

Testing is the key

Thats the wire I went to right in the door and it does need a double pulse to lock. When you push the power lock switch you can hear the keyless mod. click twice. I can get it to lock with a second pulse otherwise it wont lock. The made on date for the car is 11/95 but seems to be 96 by all the wiring.

With the door open or closed..... with it open, yes, it probably needs two pulses to lock.... even the newer GM's won;t lock with one switchpulse. Closed..... then it should only need one pulse to lock. I have never ever needed 2 lock pulses in over 10 years.... trust me, if it was even remotely necessary, the units would have double lock pulses.
