I am making a fiberglass hatch cover for my 01 focus zx3 , heres some pics....tell me what you think , its my first fiberglassing experience....i decided to dive in and go for the molded ford logo....reallllly hard to prep for paint :)
not quite finished yet, waiting around for warmer weather haha

Hey man that looks awesome dude, especially for your first time at glassing, really good job.  What did you cut out your letters with?

The reason you cant edit is you have to have 50 posts to edit them.

I used the scroll saw to cut them out on 1/4 inch plywood and used gorilla glue to glue em down. cutting them out was the easy part.....trying to fill the inside edges with bond...thats the tricky part lol. I'm waiting for warmer weather to paint it, still has a few pinholes but its gettin there.

How'd you do it? Did you make some sort of frame first or just stretch fleece in the shape you wanted?
