hey guys whats up,  I am at work right now and i am installing a this alpine head  unit into a Scion TC.  Now the customer wants  the face of the unit mounted on the headliner so i put it there looks nice and the unit inself is mounted in the glove box.  Now i solder 24 guage wire from the head unit inself right too the face of the unit now it turned on for like a sec and then nothing after so I was wondering if anyone could help me out please.  And ASAP if possible

two things to possibly check

1. Y are you only getting .02v? and what is that wire controlling?

2. Is there an illumination wire on the factory harness that you didn't connect, I think its orange I may be wrong

humm, try puting it back together and put the face on like normal to be safe, ,if it still works, then it could possibly be that the wires are too long or something silly.  A few people hav done this sucessfully, and a few that i remember have had some problems with wireing, , like to short/to thin, stuff like that.
