Huh, works just fine for me. You need to put the file extension in, file name then ".jpg". In your case "https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/uploads/D31_acrylic_spkr_55.jpg". Also you can pick plexi/acrylic up at most commercial glass shops.

I would guess its either 3/4 plexi of lexan, lexan is the same as bulletproof glass.  So I know its stronger than just plexi since you can take plexi and just break it over your knee, probably not the 3/4 stuff but you see what im saying.   Lexan is also more expensive that plexi, and a sheet of plexi is very expensive.  Well I think you can use a jig saw to cut it, but I'm sure a router would probably work better.   I dont think he used any bracing i'm ASSUMING the rest of the box is mdf and he just screwed or bolted it to that.

It has to be cut at a low speed with the jig saw or it will melt and gum up the blade. I've seen a post here somewhere that mentioned routing a groove then using lighter fluid or some other type of flamible liquid, pouring it into the groove and letting it burn then,  just snapping it off for a clean cut. Then just sanding the edge for a finished look. I personaly have never done this but it sounds good in theory....then again so do a lot of things.
