I am installing a compustar 900 series in a 05 Mazda Tribute. I could only find 03 wiring diagram for the tribute. The wiring is not the same in most cases. For example I cannot find the door trigger. On the techsoft for the 03 it has the door trigger PURPLE / lt grn. at the cluster or 22 pin GEM. Also the tach wire I am unable to find. I tested each wire at the cylinder on each coil in ac w/ multimeter but doesn't show correct voltage. It will only show 12V in DC only for those wires. Has anyone done a 05 mazda tributes. ANy help would be appreciated.

I installed the alarm but it seems like the remote is not talking to the brain. I have double checked the wiring and still no output. The alarm is a 2wssr and it is brand new. Is there a way of testing it?

One other thing to check ( I forgot about this ) is to make sure that you have the correct antenna. It has to say 2W on it somewhere. I had one a while back that did the same thing and it ended up that I had a 1W FM antenna and it wasn't comunicating at all.
