Just tried it again with the other remote still no output. I have the 12v constant to a 16 gauge fused wire I got run directly to the posts on the fuse box. The multimeter reading has it for 12v. Question for you does the door have to be open or closed when programming. I have tried both but not too keen on the wire I have for the door pin. It is the correct one but I have 3 wires going to the pink wire in the DKP(1.violet wire..domelight, 2. RED / white -door sensing, and violet/blk for -trunk sensing) Do I need to diode isolate the wires. Also do I need to put a relay on the domelight and the door locks. So many questions I appreciate your help.

When programming the remote for the Compustar, it doesn't matter wether or not if the doors, trunk or hood is open or shut. Regardless, all you need for the programming for the remote controls is the main harness & the antenna plugged in. As far as the door trigger's, you'll need to diode isolate the wires or you will get false alarms. The domelight you need to put a relay on it because the dome light wire is only a low current trigger wire. The door locks I would use relays for both lock and unlock to ensure a proper ground for unlock and use a resistor for the lock wire ( 1k ohm ).

Just curious on how the brain could sense the IGN when there is no ign input on the module. I know that the DEI products did. I know what you are going to say, I should have gone with a DEI. Just pondering that questions.

I figured out what I was doing wrong. The battery has to be out of the 2way for programming. Also the whole process cannot take longer than 10 seconds. I was not turning the ignition over fast enough and did not have the battery out. The alarm works great and thanks for all your help. Next step is installing the door priority unlock. Once again thanks for all your help and suggestions.

Yes according to the 2wss remote you must remove the AA battery while you are cycling 5 times. The biggest mistake I also made was that you have to program both remotes at the same time and within 10 sec. I alos must thank everyone especially Velocity Motors for being patient and helping me with this. You guys are great and definetly deserving of a donation.

here is the link to the 2WSS remote Thanks to several other posts:
