I have the new Alpine NAV-200 system installed, except for the VSS (vehicle speed sensor) connection. After getting some printouts from my local Honda dealer, I would need to to rip the dash out. Can I use a connection to the speed control? And where will it be located? Thanks for the help!

Alpine actually makes a part NVE-K300 that is a speed pulse generator.   It is designed for older vehicles that do not have a VSS wire, but it will work on any vehicle and it Works very well.

Thanks for the info. I know my new Pilot has a vehicle speed sensor that will work. I know that the wire is coded blue/white. I'm just not sure where the speed control is under the hood, or what it looks like. Also, what should the voltage range be when I finally find it?
