(Warning:  Newb question)

I just bought an extra remote control for my 791xv, the one WITHOUT the LCD screen.

I know that for the LCD remote, you have to push the unlock and lock buttons at the same time to remote start the car.

Can you remote start the car with the non-LCD remote?

If so, how?

Thanks!

David.

i dont know which model remote you got but the 472v has both the same configuration as the LCD 791xv remote.
if youres work, check to see if theres an asterisk (*) symbol. press twice to remote start.

Oh, the reason I ask this is because the remote, from the pictures I've seen, has four buttons around a circular hinge.  From what I'm thinking, you'd only be able to press 1 button at a time.   Unless I'm looking it at it wrong.

Here's a picture to explain what I'm talking about:

Thanks for the reply.  I get it now.  It's different than the LCD remote.

Thanks!
