I have avistart 6000 will not except tach wire on distributer.  It needs to be between 1-5 volts, tach is less than 1 volt.  No tachless mode on alarm.  Is there anyware else that I can find a wire for rpm's that will work?

Not good.  It definately sounds like you are not getting a tach signal.  You can try and find an injector wire like securinu suggested or get a different remote start.

Did you verify the correct tach signal and also double check the tach programming sequence of the RS unit ? How did you get a reading of 1 volts on the DMM ? Please explain it so it will help us better understand what you did so we're not chasing our own tails .
