Does the third ignition need to be powered for the 01 tahoes.....I have a couple diagrams that say to and some that dont.....any body know for sure?? thanks!!

the only ign that need to be powered up are pink and white

If you have third ignition(pink white) in your vehicle. Power it up. No harm to do it.

This happen to a few vechicle then someone found out that it was require and nessary.

CHEVROLET, TAHOE, 2001, Second Ignition

To avoid the check engine light from coming on and possible damage to the automatic transmission, the second ignition in this vehicle MUST be powered when adding a remote start system.

Be careful whose advice you buy, but be patient with those who supply it. Need 3rd Ign for '01 Tahoe?? - Last Post -- posted image.
