If willing to flex from the Class D initiative, US amps has a Class AB that has 800wRMS bridged into 1 ohm. Pretty sure that'd work for your setup, but the thing costs like an MSRP of 950... So may be a bit up there.

I would wire it to 1ohm and use the 1500 rms.  Just be careful with the gain.  Not sure if those woofers could stand the full 1500.

.... Um.... 400wRMS * 2= 800wRMS. Putting like 1500wRMS(Almost double the rating) fully going into that would, well, good bye? That'd toast it if my understanding is correct. Exceeding the rated RMS is usually not a good idea. Exceeding it by almost double, well, that's just dumb.

roger that but I was going to run it a 2 ohms and I got the hifonics off ebay for 185 shipped brand new from private owner. There are 2 sets of pos and neg on the amp (my bud has one) If I have my subs wired to 2  ohms and use (I know its a monoblock) the two other speaker outs and wire one set to each sub would that  increase my ohms from one to possibly 2. I know they are parallel to each other but wouldnt impedance also be raised?
