I just got a Compustar 2W900FM-AS and I am going to install it myself, and probably with a friend on a 97 Honda Accord with a factory security system. I have the wire diagram, so the question is for wiring I would match the car diagram with the brain diagram and mount the brain and some other things and that is it?? Anybody have any tips or instructions for a newbie?
Thanks

Take your time. Doublecheck your connections. Test the wires with your meter before you interface them. Soldering the wires is recommended. Have fun and learn alot.

alik I got mine on ebay. You just have to keep a look out on ebay.
Ok so with the chart aboce I go to my alarm brain wireing diagram and match up each of the wires? So the chart says '12volt' is white and the alarm diagram '12volt' is red so I just crip the two wires together? Is that it or am I missing something else. Thanks for the help as you can tell this is my first time installing an alarm, I have done cd recievers, but thats different.

you might have a problem with the domelight coming on if you take out the factory alarm... we had an experience where after us unplugging the FA the domelight wouldnt come on with the doors open... so its just a matter of finding those 2 wires and connecting them
