grounding?

anyone ever hear of a grounding post??  If so should i use one to ground my amp and cap or just ground it to the body somewhere?  What does everyone else use to ground to?

I usually ground to my body. Take some sandpaper and get the paint off of the place you are mounting to and then drive a screw into that spot (Be sure that you are not going to hit anything on the other side). I usually attach the ground wire with a ring terminal and drive the screw through the ring with a washer, so that everything is tight and has a solid connection.

i take my ground straight to the frame. i grind down to bare metal, bolt a ring terminal on, silicone around it and coat it.
