I have a 94 Chevy S-10 Blazer and was wondering how to tell if it has reverse polarity or positive pulse door locks.  Thanks for any help you guys may give.

2-door vehicles are 5-wire (type C), 4-door vehicles are 3-wire positive (type A).

Is up to the installer to test all wires with a DMM whenever possible.

First I get a reliable source of wiring diagram for the car I am working with. I like to leave the seaching done by the professional who's job it is to create wire diagram.
This is what it said for your car.

I like using a test probe to test my wire because I know what they are. You should use a Digital Meter. Once you find the wire followed the diagram posted by Bnluis and tied that in to the alarm unit you are installing. Make sure you get the switch side and the motor side correct. There is a file below if you want to know about the type of locks system there is out there.

Be careful whose advice you buy, but be patient with those who supply it.94 Chevy S-10 Blazer keyless - Last Post -- posted image.
