What are the differences between these two models and what are peoples general perceptions of them. Also how do each handle sirius and ipod, delays, display, ease of search? thanks

Well, I can say that I have a 9831 and I love it, even though I wish that I went with the 9833 only for the reason that it has better crossover adjustments.

I was deciding between all of above.  I ended up with the 9833 from Crutchfield.  Price was too good, shipping was free, they included a wiring harness for my vehicle and included a pocket to fill in the double din space.  All that with a 30 free return policy.  Just too good.  I cannot tell you much more than that because it is just been too cold in my garage to install a brand new system.  If the temperature can just get to 50 degrees...
