I dont know why but right now I can not find the tech wire, I will find it and connect it within this week, anyway there is a way to make it work without tach. ON page 18 there is a remote start selected features on my vw jetta 98 I changed the
feature #4 Input check to voltage
feature #5 voltage level <0.5V B4 Start.
Now the car starts and everything but the factory alarm goes off for about 2 sec. I think it is when it cranks,
so now do I connect the BLACK / YELLOW pilse duing crank to the same wire? I my car the factory alarm is unlock (double pulse). After the car starts it stays on and works perfectly, but I dont want to wake up people in the middle of the night when my car is in the driveway.

Did you hook up the BLACK/ blue wire from the 4 pin harness straight to your unlock wire?

K I found the solution for my problem,

The BLACK/ blue wire goes to the unlock door wire of the car, but since VW has a negative door pulse that turns positive and the alarm sends a nother negative pulse (this does not disarm the alarm) You have to put a realay on the BLACK/ blue wire to convert the negative to a positive signal. once you do this the factory alarm in VW will be disarmed and you alarm will work fine
