ok, so then I should get a yellow top then? lol

Honestly.. money isn't an issue for me. So if it's better for me to get a yellow top, rather then a red top.. then I will. Like I said though.. i'm not getting involved in 2 batteries. I'm simply replacing my stock battery. But, I have so many accesories and stuff, I just don't think my stock battery is able to hold up. Mostly because, when i'm cruising with all my led's on, and my stereo at full blast.. after about 45mins, my battery light will come on.

So, for my situation.. for an acc batt, and a starter battery.. one yellow top under the hood will be fine?

I think the red top is a better choice for a starter battery because thats what its designed for. The yellow top would be a good choice for a 2 battery setup but if thats not what you wanna do I'd go with the red top.

now people are tellin me 2 different things lol

So a yellow top wasn't orignally designed for an under the hood batt to begin with?.. just a red top?

Is a red top that much of an improvement over a stock battery?. Because with all my accesories, and my stereo.. like I said, my battery light will come on after about an hr with everything on, and the bass going, which I assume it's telling me my battery can't keep up. Will me getting a redtop avoid that?, or at least help it by providing more power to the things that need it?

Honestly it sounds like your battery is going bad because of your lack or power from your alt. Neither a red top nor yellow top is going to fix anything until you get an adequate alternator. The red top is made to be replacement for your factory battery. The yellow top is not made to be a starter battery. Its a deep cycle battery which means its more suited for running acc. for long periods of time than for pumping out the quick power needed to start your motor. WITH the addition of a HO alt. either one would do. But the red top is designed for exactly what your wanting to do with it.
