Thanks, that side will be a 10" Polk Audio db sub, and the other side which im going to do the same thing on will have my amp and cd changer.  Im stuck between either deciding on carpeting it or painting it.  But thanks again, it was good to hear that lol.

You should document this well and post some more pictures. It looks rather clean from the first pic. The only thing I noticed from the pic is that it may not have enough resin for the first coat and there are a couple of ripples that could have been pressed out but those are no big deals.Certified Security Specialist

I've been sick lately, sorry I won't be on much.

Yeah, I found out there wasnt enough resin on some spots when i took it out lol.  I cut out one major ripple in the corner.  The one on the bottum is b/c there are wires there.  I have 1 more picture, but I dont know if I will post it b/c its on my phone, but I'm gettin a camera tonight to take more pictures.  Im glad I seemed to have done it right so far lol.  I hope I can keep it up.

I am thinking about tackling something similar in my car. Its a two door, and the area that would be a door, if it were a four door car, looks like a handy spot to add speakers. I was thinking about building in a fiberglass enclosure in this space. Did you build a "positive", like out of styrofoam or something that you could push into the space, and then fiberglass that ? Or, did you build the fiberglass into the space in the vehicle ? If so, does it touch the sheet metal in the back ? I would suppose this would be bad ?? I am new to this, and I am unsure the terminology to even begin asking questions. TIA, Richard

You dont need a positive mold, just start with the fiberglass, however you want to tape everything off and make sure you poly the entire car not to get anything on the rest of the car. Do a search on how to's, there is a website for which I can't remember what the link is right now, he has some pretty good ideas and explains a lot, however you best bet it to get some videos like from Select Products and let Robert teach you how to Fiberglass.... but getting back to the post... that does look good, I am thinkin about doing something similar in my car but I am unsure as to what I want to put there... maybe a couple caps or something but so far so goodDuke Duke
