Few questions about Jetta

I have a 03 jetta with a 791xv installed. I'm putting in a pulse timer for the wait to start light, and while it is apart again I need to fix my door triggers. Can anyone explain to me how exactly to wire these triggers? I know they need to be diode isolated, but am not sure about the rest, and since they are (-) trigger, which way should I install the diode? Thanks in advance to everyone. Sean
