That thread was a great read. I'm so glad threads like that exist to inform customers about the products and people behind the products they could be wasting their hard-earned cash on.

I think the moderator on the last page of the thread summed it up nicely.

The online market is like that. The customer base is much more educated. They have seen, and possibly been fooled previously by the "marketing talk" used by so many of the Circuit City brands, and are much more skeptical about claims like that. You can't just say that your sub is the best without backing it up. And you really don't want to make un-supported claims about your product being better than another manufacturers product. Especially when the other manufacturer is owned by Dan. Voice coil - Page 2 -- posted image.
