Maybe someone can help me with this.  I just installed a Crimestopper 2way pager alarm with remote start into my 2003 Chevy Silverado Z71.  It works great! alarm, remote start and the two way pager, but the only thing I noticed after the install it my Clock looses its time every one and a while.  Its very hard to recreate the problem.  I think it happens when I turn the truck off with the door open.  my stereo will remain on until I open the door, so I am wondering if I need to diode isolate a wire somewhere.  I dont even have the door trigger hooked up to the alarm. I am using the dome light as the trigger, and that works just fine for me.. Can anyone suggest a resolution or something I should try to fix it?  Thanks!

Clock resets to 12:00 come to think of it when I do a remote start the AC fan comes on the the truck starts. but when I turn the key to start it.. the stereo and AC Fan come one. I hooked up the Remote start how the manual said. maybe I am missing a wire.. any suggestions?

Sounds like you missed an accessory wire, sometimes there is more then 2 thats why it comes on when you turn on the key and not when you R/S the vehicle.  As for the radio is it factory of aftermarket?  And I would use the door trigger and not the dome light, some dome lights have a delay and if it is too long the alarm ignores it as an open/closed circuit upon arming.
