Hello guys :

Quick question I have a Giordon 686 aoto start alarm I am happy with the features on this bit of kit and the alarm works fine.  I would like to use the remote engine start function button to open the boot on my wifes car (UK = bad news for auto starters).

I can get hold of an appropriate solenoid but what about the alarm function.. Can this be done ?

Many thanks Eric

Do you use the remote start feature of the alarm or not?   If you do, you need a second channel to pop it (this is the best way). If you don't you can use the starter output wire it is the only one that shuts off after being energized.  Make sure you read your instruction manuel before attempting it some alarms remote start will not work until the tach wire has been learned
