I just got one of these and I think it's something everybody who installs should carry in their toolbox. For all of you who are DEAD SET on using a meter to set your gains, save that cash you would be using for a good meter, and spend it on one of these... Buy one of these instead of the meter, and get about a thousand times more testing equipment... AND get a FREE meter while you're at it...
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

I have been eyeing that thing for a while, but haven't had the extra money available yet.  However it would be much easier than setting up the non-portable scopes.

I like that it comes with a meter too.  It would be nice to have an extra one.

Ahhh......nice, thanks for the link, looks to be a good thing worth a try, I am going to order one in the next couple days to try. It can't hurt, and its only $200. Like Stephen said, I could also use an extra meter in my box.

That's been on my Christmas wish list for a little while now, too, as I spotted that a few weeks ago...  My wife tells me I'm going to have to do some of this stuff for $$ if I'm going to think about buying equipment like that.  Ahh, tools that make you drool....I would gladly trade in my lawnmower!
