Using factory horn Wrangler '03

I have installed a clifford matrix 1, into my 03 jeep wrangler 4.0L. And i want to use the factory horn. i looked up my jeep wiring diagram and hooked a spdt relay with the "reverse polarity" hookup described in your relay page and the horn will not turn on. Im wondering if i possible did not wire the relay right can anyone help me with the wiring of my SPDT relay? the car's factory horn is - and the alarm siren wire is +. thanks -Zenofex-

you would want to hook the relay up like this:

POST 85:  + output from alarm

POST 86:  - Ground to car body

POST 87:  - Ground to car body

POST 30:  Output to the (-) input on your Horn

Note: If you're not hooking up the siren you're maintaining one of the biggest weaknesses to factory alarm systems (horns are usually mounted on the front side of the radiator where small wire cutters could easily disable your horn BEFORE a break in is attempted.  If don't want to use a siren, I'd highly advise mounting an additional horn somewhere INSIDE the engine compartment where it's hard to get to by a hand holding a wire cutter.  

The factory horn wire is RED / Yellow at the steering column, its a NEG(-) trigger.

Most aftermarket alarm remote starts have a negative output for horn honk, but use a relay anyhows.

86 12v, 85 your output from alarm, 87 ground, 30 to the horn wire.
