I have one key fob factory remote only. I have two factory keys. my customers one key workes fine with the factory remote. His other key will not start the car unless he uses his factory remote to remotly unlock the doors first. then the second key will start the car.  Im thinking of just disabling the factory alarm. Any ideas? rather not get a second remote or install another keyless on this saturn this year/model is a pain. anyone ever just disable/ground the factory alarm without reprocutions? thanks in advance guys!

My information says it has nothing for an anti theft system ? That's wierd ? Did you look for Passlock II wires  in the ignition ?

thank you men,

but - my customers discription over the phone was WRONG! (can you believe that),  I finaly got a chance to look at the car myself. it has no ign kill.heres the deal- one remote, two keys. using the remote will disarm alarm. but, using the keys to unlock the door will not disarm the alarm(factory alarm) also, the overhead door light will not go on when you open the door, unless you unlock them with the remotecontrole. when you try to start the car the alarm beeps the factory horn and flashes the lights. but only then you turn the ign key-it is not trigered by opening the doors. (ps: the car does start with both keys even in alarm mode).

my question is: is there an easy way to just ground the factory disarm wire WITHOUT removing the rear seat pass side panel? if there is what color and where?

any help is apr..

thanks again men!

MArk
