I am in a major trouble! I currently have a Viper 550esp and was trying to install a 690xv. for some reason the remote for the 690xv did not detect the brain. nor did the remote for the 550esp work with the 690xv. so i swapped out the antenna's (now the 550esp antenna is hooked up to the 690xv) the pager remote did not work. so i then programed the 550esp remote to the 690xv brain and it worked! but i only programmed the ARM button. so here is the problem. the alarm is going off and the only button that works is the ARM button. so now i cannot enter program mode because the alarm needs to be cleared. I need it cleared because I think the Responder antenna is screwed.

How about trying to use the valet button to shut the alarm off? After that you should be able to go into programming. Check the install manual of both alarms to figure out how to erase all transmitters, or use a bitwriter.

Open door, turn key on, press the button for 1 second, the alarm will turn off after 2 seconds.
