go ahead, ground it, i have never experienced any problems doing that, 14years installing, even did it on a lexus 400.. all the alarm knows is to stay off, u can always throw in a toggle switch.

Why would you want to perm. disable a perfectly good factory alarm?

I suggest making it work with your after market alarm for a little additional protection.

---->  Disabling factory alarms is reserved for ONLY the very NOVICE alarm installers.

If you need help making the two work together, you have the ENTIRE forum that is here and willing to help!

It's possible. The factory security has been paid for when the vechile was purchase why not use it.
Read this if you want to disable it. This is probably the better way to disable it.
Be careful whose advice you buy, but be patient with those who supply it.permanently bypass security -- posted image.
