I hate to bring up an old post like this.... I received a 2 channel amp for an offer I couldn't pass up. Am I going to have to rewire my subs?

Yup.  Series/series for an  8 ohm load.  Bridge the amp.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

8 ohm? Even if the 2 subs are 2 ohm each?

Unfortunatly with 2 ohm DVC subs, you are stuck with three variables, 8 ohm, 2 ohm or .5 ohm. Such, it will not work too well with a 2 channel amp unless it is rated for major power at 4ohms.

I am confused on how you would connect the subs, as is shown in the middle of the 2 subs in the diagram. Sorry guys, I am new to all of this (obviously hehe). If I were to connect the subs seperatly to the amp, I would wire them as I would a 4 ohm instead of 2 correct? I might just do that
