Installation woes on 1996 sunfire

For reference, my car is a 1996 Sunfire, with RKE. Been trying to do the wiring for my lambos as well as install a remote start/alarm system. I'll list my problems and if someone has a suggestion on a particular problem, I'll appreciate it. Everything was working before I started these projects. 1. Interior lights do not come on with the doors, but do come on when the trunk or glovebox is open, but their respective lights do not come on. 2. When you try to use the power mirrors, they don't work but it turns on the interior lights. 3. Radio has no power, removed radio, and checked the constant and switched power leads and there was no power. 4. Flashers don't work, but the passenger indicator stays on when the parking lights are turned on. Thats all of the problems I can think of right now, the car does start. Both sets of wire extensions for the lambos were done one wire at a time, the drivers side I used crimp connectors, but soldered the connections on the passenger side. I am going to redo the connections on the drivers side shortly. Also, the car had a Hornet alarm system on it already, I took it off and replacing it with a Crimestopper system. All I have hooked up so far is the alarm side of the new system and just used the same tap locations when I could to hook it up. I haven't cut any wires, so this is all getting irritating. Again, any reasonable suggestions are appreciated.

Have you metering your fuses in the engine & on the driver's side of the car ? Also, it sounds as if the parking light is getting power somewhere ? Have you tried removing all of the CS wires fromt he car ? Did you remove the battery when you cut the wires from the doors to install the Lambo doors ? I ask because there are several wires there that have constant power to them and if they ground out at anytime, this would damage the BCM.Jeff

BCM is located on the driver's kick panel right above the foot rest. It has 3 ( ?? I think ) plugs in it facing downwards.Jeff

seriously sounds like you have some blown fuses....i would check them all first

I had checked a couple of them and they were fine. Need to find out about swapping in a bcm from a wrecked car, I assume that all of the power stuff (windows, locks) go through the bcm, so as long as I pull one out of a car with the same options will I be alright? The catch is I have a convertible so those are not as common but I would think you could manually control the power convertible top with relays. The other thing is, is there anything programmed specfic for my car on the bcm (anti-theft) that will make it need to to be taken to the dealer first before I swap it out?
