Hello.
I am trying to mount a VIPER 790XV on an Audi 100 1992 (C4) - Automatic.(The remote start feature is just like 550ESP)
I connected all the wires to the relay satellite (I think is the same as inViper 550) and when I try to start the enginethe relays will give AC but when the PINK wire gives the signal the Relayswill just buzz and the starter is trying to crankthe engine 3 times but the engine does not even turn.
I have tried to give (+) direct to the starter cylinder to AC , Ignition andthen the Starter and the engine starts but when I try with the system therelays will just buzz.I ecen tried to only give (-) on the Pink wire on the Start Ribbon Harnes(thin wires that trigger the relays) and the Relays begin to buzz. The 2 red wires are connected directly on a cable that comes from thebattery so it can't be a weak power input.
Anybody knows why the relays are buzzing instead of staying conected ?? Thesound it is just like they are opening and closing the contacts very fast.
Any tips ?Anybody monted on this car type before can let me know where I can findfaster the TACH wire ?
Thenk you
Best regards
George

Thanx , I had this before you posted :)

It is easyer for the users if you post the Link instead of CUT/PASTE.

My problem is solved , the ground was not strong enough. As about the TACH no need for it anymore , the system is monitoring the power consumption in the car for detecting the engine start.

mecp certification is not always needed. I have it and it has not helped me out at all. my experience out shines it.

Yep , he wants to do it for show of course :)
But I don't think they can steal the car unless they are lifting it up.
It's an automatic gearcase and you can not move it from the parking position unless you have ignition with the key inside.
