Hi, I have a 1985 Bose stereo and I disconnected the battery to replace it. Now everything works but the radio. The fuse is not broken or anything it still shows the time. Is there a reset or something to get it to work. Thanks it would help.

I am a Corvette guy, a better place to find answers to questions about the Bose system (or anything else Corvette) is at www.corvetteforum.com . Cheers.

I do believe that the factory Bose Head Unit has the security feature. Sometimes when disabling power to those units, they will go into security mode. You may have to take it to a dealer.

i think 85 may pre-date the original Delco Loc system, but look for the phrase "Delco Loc I or II" on the face of the radio
