I recently came from ISACA'S Spring Break Nationals in daytona, FL. ; and i saw some crazy setups including several amps connected to  (1) or (2) DVC Woofers. Can anyone Explain ; how it's done?  What do you achieve by doing this?

It's easiest to explain if you just think of each voice coil as a completely separate woofer.  If you want to connect two woofers to two amps, how do you do it?  One amp to each woofer, but in this case, one amp to each voice coil...

This is not recomended for ameturs*such as my self* though. Each voice coil must receive the same voltage or all hell can break loose.

If each voice coil is not receiving the same amount of power, then they will work against each other and thus, there goes the woofer.

This is SIMPLY NOT TRUE!!! Here is a discussion that was had just recently here on the12volt... Please stop spreading this misinformation. It may be true that most people should not attempt it, because the results MIGHT be less than optimal, but it WILL NOT DAMAGE YOUR DRIVER IN ANY WAY, UNLESS YOU SIMPLY EXCEED IT'S THERMAL CAPABILITIES BY OVERPOWERING IT!!!!!
The most important thing to see in that entire thread, is the link to this pdf file at the bottom of the first page... Read especially from the middle of page two of this document.
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
