I have a kit for my Hummer H2 and it is the kit that relocates the factory radio. Question i have is this, i am changing the front and rear door speakers but not going to bother changing the far rear speaker on the back wall beside the hatch since the subs will drown them out anyways and i am also putting in an amp and new head unit. The harness has a clip for an optional speaker to hear the chime and what i wanted to do is just hook up those wires going to the rear speaker wire then into the factory harness that is hooked up to the BOSE.

i wouldnt just so you wouldnt be running high level speaker output backwards through the harness id jus use the metra part GMRC01 (databus doorchime interface)

Don't do that- just buy a junk speaker from AutoZone or Wal-Mart and hook it up.
My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.
