My 1994 Explorer:
Across top of radiator, along driver fender.
If you have an automatic, then there is a plate covering the area where the clutch pedal would have been. Drill through that plate (it's probably the easiest and safeste place to drill).
Run the wire along the driver's side. If the wire is small enough, you can hide it underneath the plastic door sills.

I just installed a stereo into a 91 Explorer. I ran all of the wires to the correct sports, power ground and remote, but my amp is not powering on.... The fuse in the amp is good and so is the fuse that goes on the power wire.... What could be my issue here.... Somebody please help, I really need to get this done. Thank you.
