Should be 3's in the dash, also a pain to replace. I would recommend doing some kickpanels or even putting some 6's in the doors. IMO not worth replacing the stock speakers.

what is IMO and where would i find kickpanels for this old of a vehicle?....plus how much are kick panels?

IMO is In My Opinion, and there are generic kickpanels that you can purchase from a stereo shop, or there are ways of making custom kickpanels.
