First of all Hi to all members. its my first post on this forum. I am from Melbourne, Australia.
i have searched this forum thoroughly but could not find this issue mentioned anywhere.
i have installed this above alarm system in my Accord 95 manual. Car has no other alarm or immobiliser.
all functions are working fine, except, when i try to remote start, it starts my car and after about 10 seconds engine shutdowns, then after 2-3 seconds restarts. this process happens total 3 time. (according to Mannix user-menual its normal to try 3 times, if engine fails to start).
but my case is different engine fully startsup and then stop.
i have tried Tachometer Learning 4-5 times already with full warmup engine, and it came up with no error.
can someone please tell me where i m doing wrong, thanks a lot in advance.
regards
Mirz

"Use the injector wire ( uncommon color ) for the tach signal input. Once you do this reprogram the system to the new tach wire. Jeff"
where can i find this injector wire in my car, if thats the only solution in my case?

i have strong doubt on Ignitition wiring. either IGN1 or IGN2 is loosing power and that most probably stop power.
my current wiring is in this way:
Alarm wires -> Car Ignitition Switch
Red -> 12+ve all time
Yellow -> cutout relay -> Start
Blue -> IGN1
Green -> IGN2
Black -> Ground
its installation manual is so confusing.
at the moment most confusing wire for me is:
Connector 2 (10 Pin), wire no 6 = Blue/White
should i connect this wire to IGN1 or IGN2 or to both with 1 amp diode ???
Right now i have connected this wire to cutout relay on point 85 along with [Connector 2 (10 Pin), wire no 4 = Orange]
Action:
i tried to cut this [Connector 2 (10 Pin), wire no 6 = Blue/White] from point 85
Result:
No change, same.
Action:
connected this [Connector 2 (10 Pin), wire no 6 = Blue/White] to only IGN1
Result:
No change, same.
Action:
connected this [Connector 2 (10 Pin), wire no 6 = Blue/White] to only IGN2
Result:
No change, same.
dont know if its worth to connect this [Connector 2 (10 Pin), wire no 6 = Blue/White] to both IGN1 and IGN2 with 1 amp relay will make any difference.
what do you think?

interesting sitution.
what i did:
connected
[Connector 2, 10 Pin, wire 2 = Yellow] -> Cutout Relay on point 86
and
[Connector 2, 10 Pin, wire 6 = Blue/White] -> Cutout Relay on point 85
but when i disconnected
[Connector 2, 10 Pin, wire 6 = Blue/White] from Cutout Relay on point 85, nothing changed.
so tomorrow may be i should disconnect both
[Connector 2, 10 Pin, wire 2 = Yellow] from Cutout Relay on point 86
and
[Connector 2, 10 Pin, wire 6 = Blue/White] -> Cutout Relay on point 85
to give it a try, may be this is creating a trouble.
and my other finding:
i assumed ignitition switch in this following sequence:
OFF -> IGN1 -> IGN2 -> START
but now it seems like that it should be indeed in this sequence:
OFF -> IGN2 -> IGN1 -> START
so i will have to swape Alarm wires BLUE AND GREEN.
will do this tomorrow and let you guys know, after work. :-)
can someone please confirm this ignitition switch sequence, thanks.

I do not think your problem is in your wiring. I have seen numerous problems with these Mannix systems. The reason it shuts down is because of improper tach signal, even when actually it is the correct way. Try the injector wire like mentioned before. You are right, the instruction manual is so confusing. It has been translated from some other language.

Done re-wiring, and result is same, no change      Mannix SM700 and Remote Start Problem -- posted image.
there are four fuel-injectors in my car. every injector has two wires, one common color wire, and other one is in differnt color in every injector.
i assume that i should use uncommon wire, am i correct?
other question is that can i use anyone of these fuel-injectors?
if i use Generator mode instead of Tachometer, which color of wire should i hook to main module of my Mannix? White or some other color??
thanks.Mannix SM700 and Remote Start Problem -- posted image. Mannix SM700 and Remote Start Problem -- posted image.

there are two options in Alarm system, i.e. signal either from tachometer or generator.
there is jumper setting, basicaly to switch between them.
another thing i noticed that "IGLOCK" is not working either .
IGLock = when you turn your key to ON position system should lock all your doors.

One thing i forgot to mention:
my car is manual.
tachometer learning is fine (no Error) on both jumper settings.
remote start does not work on manual jumper settings (flashes 3 times)
but all this drama start then stop then restart is happening if i change jumper from manual to automatic.
